Even though my dog, Lucky, weighs about 65 pounds, I buy the small dog treats for him. You might be thinking I'm cheap, but that's really not the reason. Well, it might be true, but...
Generally, Lucky likes to be around people, not alone. To help his anxiety when I leave home, he always gets a treat. Since I've started this tradition, he gets very excited and looks forward to a treat everytime I get my shoes and coat on! I say, "I'll be back soon", give him his dog treat, and he's a happy dog.
